Tired of the same old "up an octave, down an octave" hit and miss way of practicing scales? What's the point, anyway? Nobody's EVER going to ask you to perform your soul-touching version of the C Major scale, that's for sure. So is it ok to just skip scales and focus your limited practice time on the pieces and songs that you love? Well the truth is that practicing your scales is one of the best ways of leveling up in your piano skills.
